This beautiful property designed by architect owner is a traditional Irish house on the outside and spacious, modern and highly specified internally. The location is perfect in the centre of the village. Great for families with children, groups attending local weddings or visiting relatives. There is a sheltered south facing patio, and fully enclosed lawned garden. Wifi and LAN throughout the house, bluetooth speakers, smart TV, DVDs, games for kids. Washer dryer, ironing facilities, dishwasher and well appointed kitchen. High chair, stair gates and cot can be supplied as required. Secure shed available to store bike or other equipment, parking is easy and free.

Strangford is a picturecard village in a beautiful rural coastal location. Just 1 hour from Belfast and approx 2.5 hrs from Dublin it is perfectly located for exploring. The village is small but vibrant with a range of great restuarants, pubs, shops and services. Castleward National Trust Estate is located on the edge of the village, a major Game of Thrones filming location, and with a huge range of things to do and see. There are many great trails that you can walk or ride directly from the village. Strangford is linked to Portaferry by a ferry which is worth the trip for the views alone. Portaferry has the NI Aquarium and a number other attractions. Downpatrick is the nearest big town, a 10-15 min drive.
