Welcome to The Retreat. Relax in our cosy self-contained annexe set in a peaceful location alongside the tranquil sound of the babbling stream ZZZzz. Explore lovely Cornwall from a central base. Great location within easy reach of Eden Project, Charlestown, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Mevagissey, Fowey, Porthpean Beach/Golf Course on your doorstep is the Blackpool clay trail. 30mins to Truro, 24mins to Newquay, the nearest town St Austell 12 mins. Good access to A30 to explore the rest of Cornwall.

My name is James and my wife is Paula. We are always keen to help and always have time for guests. We are keen gardeners and both enjoy the coast and countryside. We are also members of National Trust and the RHS. We both love travelling, have a passion for cruising and are well traveled. Paula enjoys arts and crafts in her spare time. There will generally be one of us on site (me in the garden pottering) for the majority of the time, but nevertheless we will always be contactable. We both look forward to welcoming you to our cosy Retreat.

We are excellently placed for major roads in and out of the county and centrally positioned, making access to all the best locations very easy. There are good public transport links to the whole of Cornwall with buses to St Austell, Truro and Newquay to name but a few. The nearest train station is St Austell with connections throughout the whole of Cornwall and to London Paddington.
