The entrance hall provides space for coats and boots, and then opens directly into the light and airy newly fitted kitchen. The utility room (with separate washing machine and tumble dryer) and a shower room (comprising shower, toilet and hand basin) are located on the ground floor. A couple of steps down into the ground floor king size bedroom, with french doors which open into the garden. A few stairs lead from the kitchen area up to the superb 'round' sitting room with dining area. The large windows overlook the garden and make this a lovely room to relax in, whatever the weather. The wood-burner gives a cosy atmosphere in the cooler months. The sitting room is also completed with TV/DVD player, as well as plenty of books, DVDs and games, and a stereo with iPod dock. Upstairs are two further bedrooms and bathrooms, one a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom (bath, toilet and hand basin). The third bedroom is a twin and the family bathroom off the hall has a bath with hand-held shower attachment, toilet and hand basin. There is another small 'bedroom' off the hallway, which can be used as a baby bedroom and a travel cot and changing table are provided.
West Anstey sits just outside the southern boundary of Exmoor National Park in North Devon. Dulverton (in Somerset) is approx 5 miles (15 minutes drive). It is a beautiful town on the banks of the River Barle, known as the southern gateway to Exmoor and it is also home to the head quarters of the Exmoor National Park. Dulverton is well equipped with shops including Post Office, butchers, bakery, fish & chip shop, greengrocer, late-opening supermarket, art gallery, hairdressers, guns and fishing tackle shop. There are also a number of quality boutiques, interesting gift shops plus a handful of lovely restaurants, tea rooms and pubs.
