Situated opposite the South Pier, the Sands Hotel looks out across the sea. The family-run hotel provides a warm welcome and rooms with en suite bathrooms, TVs and free Wi-Fi, available in the main reception.
The spacious rooms offer a homely atmosphere and tea/coffee making facilities. Most rooms offer a fantastic panoramic view of the Irish sea.
Close to the centre of Blackpool, the Tram stops outside the hotel to take you along the Promenade. Blackpool Tower, the Sea-Life centre and the Pier are all within easy reach.
Blackpool Pleasure Beach, and Blackpool South Rail Station are both within a 5-minute walk. The Airport is just a short drive from the Sands.
Our hotel is a fantastic building dated back as far as 1881 and is listed on Blackpool's Buildings of Architectural and /or Historic Interest. We have kept many of the fantastic old features within the hotel but added a few new ones. The fantastic staircase is still there it would have been a shame to pull it out, most guests comment on its fantastic structure.
There's something in Blackpool for everyone whatever you are looking for. we want everyone to enjoy their stay with us.
We are situated opposite the South pier and the famous Sandcastle Waterpark with the Pleasure beach being no more than a 5 minute walk from us so plenty to do during your stay with us. For the couples who visit we also have the Casino just a couple of minutes walk from us. There is free street parking available but is dependent on your arrival time. There is a secure car park which guests can pre book before their stay with us. The details for this are in the "what's nearby settings" but the post code for it is FY4 1DW and its a few minutes drive from us, you pay direct to the owners on the car park as the car park is nothing to do with us here at the hotel but we've found that its the cheapest. If you decide not to use the car park as you find a free space you would need to phone them to cancel otherwise you will still have to pay for the parking as they would come to the hotel for payment.
