This wonderful two bed beach chalet, is immaculately presented and offers a very good standard of family and pet friendly accommodation. All on the ground floor and set within the tranquil setting of Hersey Nature Reserve and only a stone’s through from The Duver beach in Seaview. The Seashells offers modern home comforts with a wonderful seaside charm, and is an idyllic, romantic retreat for two, or a small family looking to relax and enjoy some good old fashioned sea side fun. Flooded with natural light, the bright open-plan living space looks out towards the communal lawn area and has a private decked area with seating to enjoy the peaceful grounds, or watch the sun setting over The Solent. Located beach side of Hersey’s Nature Reserve in Seaview, it therefore offers the perfect setting for bird lovers as well. The marshland and reedbeds are a mecca for many stunning birds like Intimate Coots, Goldfinch, Little Egrets, Oystercatchers, Pied Wagtail plus many more. Stunning coastal scenery, the area offers a varied choice for walkers, cyclists and outdoor pursuits enthusiasts with a great range of watersport activities available locally.
The seaside resort of Seaview was built by the Edwardians due to the stunning panoramic sea views and great sandy beaches, and these assets are still very much true today. The beach opposite The Seashells offers some of the best of these views, straight across the Solent to Portsmouth and the Spinnaker Tower, and the famous Solent forts. Walk along the Duver towards Ryde for Puckpool Park, which is built within a former Victorian Fortification Battery and has tennis courts, mini-golf and a children’s play area as part of its beautiful gardens. Seaview has some fantastic restaurants and gastro pubs, plus several seasonal boutique shops.
