We are a family run farm who have recently diversified into holiday accommodation - The Shepherd's Loft is the only Shepherd's Hut we have. We have been farming in this area for over 100 years and take great pride in sympathetically looking after the environment, We love to meet guests, and are always happy to answer any questions you may have and provide information about the local area.
Our quirky off grid Shepherds Hut is set in its own private paddock. It accommodates two, with a pull out bench seat converting to a double bed. Heated by a log burner in the corner you can enjoy the sunshine streaming in through the stained glass windows. Cooking on the gas bbq outside which also has a side burner for the kettle/saucepans. Don't worry about the british weather, the bbq has its own wooden shelter!. A fully functioning bathroom hut is just a few steps away, with hot and cold water and a gas powered shower and a real toilet! Lighting is solar powered, with a power pack provided for the essential phone charging!. Chill out in the evening sitting by our pool or sit around the kadai firebowl. We can provide a welcome hamper ready for your arrival packed full of local goodies, please contact us if you would like to know more. Frodesley is a small rural hamlet, we have lots of nice pubs and restaurants within a couple of miles. We are close to cycle routes and have lots of hills nearby for mountain bikers!
