The Shires is a detached cottage with heaps of character, built with traditional stone in the heart of the stunning village of Alstonefield and can sleep six people. There is a king-size double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a single bed with an additional pull-out stacker bed, a bathroom, a ground floor basin and WC, a kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and a lawned garden area with furniture. The Shires is a great base for your fun-filled holiday.
On the borders of Derbyshire and Staffordshire, between the valleys of the Dove and the Manifold Rivers, is the charming village of Alstonefield. With a traditional country pub set just off the village green, this is a truly special holiday destination.
