Originating from a working Smiddy on the original Ellon Castle Estate Grounds this unique property gives easy access to the river Ythan and is gently tucked a few minutes away from the town centre. Total privacy is extended by having its own living room/dining area and bathroom with own street access. Your home from home cosy suite with the added extra benefits of reclining sofa and Sky Q TV with movies and Sky sports channels included. Perfect for visiting BrewDog or friends and family in the area. Great for travelling businessman and couples looking for a getaway. Just a few minutes walk from all the local bars, restaurants, coffee shops and takeaways. Beautiful lit walkway along the river Ythan to view the wildlife.

Having been in the hospitality business for a few years now dealing with serviced apartments and holiday lets this is our first Guest House and we are excited to meet people who share our enthusiasm for travelling and seeing the wondrous beauty Scotland has to offer. Brewdog is a favourite in Ellon as its HQ is based here and you can take a tour or visit their bars, Dogtap for chilled out craft beers and food or across the road Overworks Tap which offers sour beer. A firm favourite within Ellon offering a great atmosphere and somewhere the whole family can go and feel relaxed in this trendy surroundings. There are also a few more pubs in the town centre – The New Inn, The Buchan, The Tollbooth & The Bridge Bar. If you are here for the night, Aberdeen is 16 miles away and offers many Shopping Malls, Cinemas, Restaurants, Theatre, Art and Music Venues, Night Clubs and Markets. Its approximately 25 minutes taxi ride or with regular buses including a night service at weekends Ellon offers great riverside walks along The Ythan which also has bicycle routes and here you can observe lots of wildlife. If you have a day to travel, great family days out can be had in places such as Haddo House, Pitmedden Gardens, Tolquhon Castle, Forvie Sands Nature Reserve and nearest beaches Newburgh and Balmedie which have lovely golden sands which are truly breathtaking.
