The Snuggery is a well appointed and very comfortable one bedroom apartment, it is situated above a 17th century village inn, and has it's own private entrance as well as secure off road parking. The property has one bedroom with a king size bed, a flat screen TV, and an en suite bathroom which has a thermostatic shower mounted over a large double ended bath. There is also a separate living/dining room with another TV plus a well equipped kitchenette. The Snuggery was renovated and beautifully redecorated in early 2020 and has free FREE WIFI, central heating and double glazing. This is a charming and conveniently located base to stay and explore the delights of Somerset and Devon, and also well enough equipped for longer or more regular stays, ideal for business requirements or between house moves.

Paulette is your host and has lived in Somerset for all of her life, she has worked in the hospitality industry for more than 30 years, and is a keen interior designer. With the help of her husband Vic she has created this wonderful apartment.

Holywell Lake is a small Somerset village close to the Devon border, it is surrounded by beautiful countryside and there are plenty of lovely circular walks to enjoy. The village pub (The Holywell Inn) is situated in the same building and beneath The Snuggery, it opens on Friday evenings every week and on the last Saturday evening of every month. Warm hospitality is assured, as are generous portions of delicious home cooked food and a friendly atmosphere. About 2 miles distant is the country town of Wellington, with 3 supermarkets, a cinema, a museum, plus a good choice of interesting shops, pubs, cafe`s and places to eat, a friendly little town ideally located for all your provisions and requirements. Nearby are an fascinating choice of National Trust properties, several golf courses, and plenty of museums, including The Fleet Air Arm Museum, Haynes Motor Museum and The Museum of Somerset. Also well worth a visit is The West Somerset Railway as are Cheddar Caves and Wookey Hole caves.
