For many years we had always wanted to have a small Bed & Breakfast/Guest House, to welcome guests to the Highlands. In 2016 we started our quest to find the right one, after a year of searching and looking at a lot of different properties this former hotel, which had become a home in 2001 was the right one for us. After acquiring the keys in late August 2017 the task of getting the property ready for Bed & Breakfast was a long process, but we didn't want to open until we were ready thus ensuring that guests got the full experience of what we wanted to achieve. In April 2018 the task was complete and we welcomed our first guests, and we have enjoyed this throughly we have been recognised for our hard word and have won awards 'Scotlands Hidden Gem 2019' and 'Contemporary B&B of the Year' Scottish Highlands 2020 and a Customer Service Excellence Award. The Apartment when we purchased had tenants in situ, when this became vacant we renovated and are pleased to say from May 2021 we will be welcoming Guests into our new addition to our portfolio. The Spey was opened in 2018 offering a high quality Bed & Breakfast in Grantown on Spey situated in the majestic Cairngorms National Park. From 2021 we have added the Spey Apartment as a self catering facility for guests looking for more privacy and a longer stay. The properties both have many original features and have been sympathetically refurbished to a high standard. The apartment has its own off road parking space, with a rear private patio with storage facilities that could accommodate, bicycles, golf clubs, or fishing equipment. The entrance is private and to the side of the main building, you enter into a compact modern kitchen, a hallway leading to the bathroom, bedroom and finally the lounge. Grantown On Spey is a convenient location for many of the wonderful things to do and see in this area. Experiences range from Golf, Distilleries, The Whisky Trail, Castles, fishing in Rivers or Lochs and various Outdoor pursuits. We are about 3/5 minutes away from the town's Museum and Tourist Information Office, which is just off the Main Street, where you can also find restaurants and shops. The local Golf Club, Bowling Green and Tennis Courts are just beside us. Anagach Woods are a 5 minute walk away with all the trails, routes and are enjoyed by many every day.

Grantown On Spey is in the beautiful Cairngorms National Park which is an area of outstanding natural beauty. We are less than a 5-minute walk from the 'Grantown Museum' and Tourist Information Office, which are just off the main street. Within 5-10 minutes you can be on the main street with restaurants and local shops. We are also 5 minutes walk away from the local golf course. The Tennis Courts and Bowling Club are just across the road. We are in a very beautiful and peaceful location
