The Studio is a wonderful studio apartment in a five acre estate close to Bowness-on-Windermere. There is an open plan living area with a double bed, mini-kitchen, dining table and sitting area with French doors to the patio. Outside is also off road parking for one car and guests have use of the owners' five acres of grounds. The Studio makes an ideal base for enjoying the lakes, the walking and the watersports of the area.
Providing a range of amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes, the twin townsof Bowness and Windermere have an enduring appeal for many visitors to the Lake District. Boat trips are available from vibrant Bowness to Ambleside, as well as to the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. Nearby is Grizedale Forest Park which offers good walks, mountain biking and the 'Go Ape' adventure playground, whilst for those who aren't keen on 'monkeying around' the National Trust care for a number of properties in the area. There are also a variety of water sports available across the many beaches. Children may enjoy a visit the 'World of Beatrix Potter' in Bowness, which brings famous characters to life using animatronic technology. Also within easy reach are destinations such as Grasmere, Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains.
