The original “Little Thatch” was built in 1351 and, is one of the oldest buildings in Gloucestershire. The bar is situated in the old original building and still retains original features.

The bus stop opposite the hotel provides regular transport to Gloucester City Centre. From the bus station, guests can arrange transport to Cheltenham and the Cotswolds or the Forest of Dean.
