Boasting a DVD player, the apartment has a kitchen with a microwave, a fridge and an oven, a living room with a seating area and a dining area, 2 bedrooms, and 1 bathroom with a shower and a bath. A flat-screen TV is available.
Popular points of interest near the apartment include National Museum of Scotland, Royal Mile and The Real Mary King's Close. The nearest airport is Edinburgh Airport, 6.8 miles from The Tron Square Residence.
The Tron Square Residence is all about the three Cs: character, comfort and central location. Sitting pretty in a quiet development just off of the Royal Mile, this apartment offers guests a peaceful haven amidst the hustle and bustle of the city centre. The property sleeps up to four guests, and features a balcony, and two double bedrooms. Additionally, we can offer a travel cot for babies FOR FESTIVAL VISITORS - THE APARTMENT IS LOCATED NEXT TO THE FESTIVAL BOX OFFICE The large living area has been lovingly decorated with eclectic furniture and exotic artwork, and is perfect for relaxing in after a long day’s sightseeing and exploring Edinburgh. If you fancy a night in why not put your feet up with a good book or DVD, and rustle up some of your own culinary treats in the well-equipped kitchen. The owner of this property has thought of everything, and so this really is a home away from home. The kitchen is fully equipped and we can offer tea and coffee as well as the basics such as oil, vinegar, salt & pepper.
A Swede by heart. As a youngster in my early twenties, in search for adventures I left Sweden for the favour of UK. I ended up in Edinburgh where I spent the best years of my adult life before returning back to Sweden back in 2012. I left behind two properties both which are listed online as holiday lets. The Tron Square Residence served as my home for over 10 years and has as such a very cosy homely feel as oppose to a trendy purpose decorated holiday let. I hope that you will like the apartment as much as I do. My family and I visit Scotland a number of times throughout the year. If available we will stay a night or two at The Tron Square Residence to check it out and to test it if it is as comfortable as we like it to be for our guests. Welcome to our apartment and rest assured that we will try to make your stay a pleasant one! All the best, Yours Lotta with family
In terms of location, you really couldn’t ask for more. The Royal Mile and Cowgate both have direct entrances to Tron Square, and so you can be at Edinburgh Castle, The Grassmarket, Holyrood and Arthur’s Seat in just a few minutes on foot. The building itself dates from around 1900, and was originally tiered housing for local workmen. At the time it was a modern accomplishment, and one of the first of its kind to use deck access.
