Our property is a detached house in a newly developing estate and has a wonderful view of both the North Sea and the Atlantic. It is a quiet area with private parking and easy access to the main roads and local amenities.

Hi, Welcome to The View. My name is Rhoda and my husband Alasdair and I created The View to be a luxurious base for your stay in Shetland. Whether you’re visiting to experience Up Helly Aa, watch the Northern Lights, spot some puffins and orca, and enjoy the rugged hills and spotless beaches, we wanted you to come back to a beautiful house with the most comfortable beds and thoughtful touches. We have four boys and so can recommend family adventures as well as great places to eat and day trips to go on. We live nearby and are at hand to make your stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible.

Our property is at the top of the village of Brae and is a great base for exploring the northern isles or for day trips to Lerwick and the south end. Locally we have shops, coffee shops, takeaways, restaurants, a leisure centre with swimming pool and gym, as well as fuel station, car garage and doctor’s surgery.
