Information about the host

The Village Inn is one of the first buildings in Westward Ho! It was originally a farm which kept sheep ,so there was just fields all around. The Inn has still alot of old Victorian features,old fire places one which still has the bread oven . There is a walled garden which still has Victorian features.

I'm Lesley and I've always lived in Devon I was born in Tavistock on the edge of Dartmoor. I've had a farm and worked in a school for 17 years . So then I thought let's try the publican life .

Westward Ho! Is beautiful place there is such stunning views especially if you go for a walk on one of the many foot path's around.The beach is sand and pebbles ,there is also a beach pool ,arcade, adventure area and quite a few gift shops and restaurants. We have lovely neighbors,one of which does dog grooming so if your dog needs a pamper she is based just across the street. Our dog loves to go for a pamper.
