The Vines

Set in a 15th-century Grade II listed building, this 4-star bed and breakfast offers rooms with beautiful country views.

A shower or a bath, with shower attachment over are in each private bathroom at The Vines, as well as bathrobes and slippers. The complimentary toiletries are locally sourced. All rooms have free Wi-Fi access, a TV and ironing facilities. An open fire is in the dining room and full English breakfasts are made using local produce.

Varied bicycle trails, picnic areas and a high wire adventure course are just a 20-minute drive away in Thetford Forest. Both the coast and Pensthorpe’s scenic village and popular nature reserve are less than 40 minutes’ drive away. It is a 10-minute drive to the market towns of Swaffham and Watton.

The local pub is just under 10 minutes’ walk away through the quaint village of Great Cressingham. Packed lunches can be arranged at The Vines with 24 hours notice.

The Vines is quirky, unusual and characterful as you would expect from a 15th Century property. Each of the rooms is individually styled and we pride ourselves on an individual touch. We make our guests feel welcome and at home with many returning on a regular basis. The Vines is exceptionally quiet and guests often comment on this. Breakfasts are made to order with fresh local produce and are a leisurely affair. We also cater for vegetarians and can flex to do early breakfasts if our guests need to be somewhere. We are dog friendly and welcome dogs. We are also open to non dog owners and have to strike a careful balance on accommodating all that stay with us.

There are many lovely places to visit near The Vines and we are not too far from Norwich or the coast. We are ideally positioned for walkers as we are on the Peddars Way and close to Thetford Forest too.
