The Waterfront is a relaxing property situated on the banks of Loch Linnhe a sea-loch that has a tidal change twice each day. Although inland this Loch is used by cruise liners visiting Fort William about 6 times a year and reaches all the way back to Oban and the Atlantic. The view from the lounge window is across to the Moidart Mountains leading into the wilderness of the Ardnamurchan Peninsular. Situated in a central position on a crossroads to the West Coast, North and South Highlands, Locharber and Central Scotland, it is regarded as the Outdoor Activity Capitol of Britain. Fort William is also the centre of much of Scotland's ancient history reaching back to the Viking ages and beyond.
