The Wee Lodge is a glamping pod located on our working croft with views over Loch Morar. Loch Morar is reputedly the deepest fresh water loch in the UK and has the shortest river, the river Morar. In a rural location 2 miles from the nearest village of Morar, the crofting township of Bracara offers a unique get away from it all location for this beautiful accommodation. The Wee Lodge is fully self contained with it's own separate entrance but just a stones throw away from the hosts accommodation should you need anything. The lodge has a double bed, kitchenette (2 ring hob, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster), en-suite shower room and elevated decking area with outside seating and a view of the loch. The pod has portable water, heating and electricity. Linen and towels are provided as are cooking utensils and crockery. We don't have phone signal or wifi available at The Wee Lodge so if you want to take a breathe from your hectic life you have just found the perfect place to stay.
We look forward to welcoming you to our croft and hope you love Loch Morar as much as we do. We have a flock of Hebridean sheep, and free range chickens and ducks which may well pay you a visit during your stay. Fresh eggs and lamb are usually available to purchase during your stay. We think Loch Morar is beautiful and unique come and see if you agree :-)
Fantastic beaches are approx 3 miles away. Mallaig, 6 miles away, offers plenty of places to eat out or access to ferries to explore the Small Isles, Knoydart Peninsular or the Isle of Skye. Fantastic walk along the loch side to enjoy the spectacular scenery of Loch Morar.
