The Wentworth Guest House

The Wentworth was built in 1898, and is located within a conservation area. We chose the Wentworth Guesthouse because of its fabulous location close to a beautiful park with lots to do and Goodrington Sands beach so close by. There are many places to visit nearby which is one reason we have so many repeat visitors, you can't possibly see and do everything in one holiday. Guests say that there is a homely feel here, we will do everything we can to make your visit as relaxed and as enjoyable as possible. A warm welcome awaits all of our guests at your home from home by the sea. Our property faces a park, and at the end of the road is the beach and sea.

Nigel, Lynne and family would like to offer you a very warm welcome to the Wentworth Guesthouse. We have here since 2016, but previously had a guest house in Torbay for 12 years. We are passionate about our business and everything we do is to a high standard as you should expect. We enjoy meeting new people, and welcoming regular guests, and many guests return to visit this wonderful location. We offer a varied menu for breakfast, and our produce is locally sourced where possible, and freshly cooked for you.

The Wentworth is located opposite Youngs Park, which is a conservation area, with Goodrington Sands Beach 200 metres away !! It is a beautiful, peaceful location, a fantastic base to explore from. Goodrington is located between Paignton and Brixham, on The English Riviera. We are located about half a mile outside of Paignton, away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre, Wentworth Guesthouse is less than 200 meters from Goodrington Sands Beach and directly opposite the beautiful park. The stunning cliff walk follows the coast from north sands beach down to Paignton harbour and along to the famous Paignton pier. The walk has been planted with exotic vegetation and flowers from around the world.
