Being located close to Stansted Airport 1.5 miles, (but not on the flight path), The White House is the perfect venue for travellers going to and from the airport. The White House is conveniently situated for easy access to East Anglia's many attractions, including Hatfield Forest, Duxford Imperial War Museum, Cambridge and Newmarket Races as well as the City of London by road or rail. Cycling fantastic especially on the Flitch way opposite and we have a secure store for your bicycles. A continental style buffet breakfast is served for those departing early, and for those with a more leisurely start, a hearty English cooked breakfast served in the traditional, open beamed countryside kitchen. An evening meal is available at our nearby pub, There is ample parking at a cost of £5.00 per day.

The White House is a family country house located 5 minutes from Stansted airport, but not on the flight path and also benefits from several market towns and villages nearby ie Thaxted, Saffron Walden and Cambridge. Also nearby is Audley End famous for its open air concerts. London is only 45 minutes on the Stansted Express railway line.
