The Whitehouse

With an ideal location for exploring the rugged beauty of the Scottish Highlands, The Whitehouse offers bed and breakfast accommodation just 10 miles north of Inverness. Free WiFi is accessible throughout. Parking is available, as well as an area for motorcycle maintenance and cleaning.

Rooms at The Whitehouse all have their own bathroom, either en suite or a private bathroom adjacent to the room. Rooms are decorated in a light, modern style, and each comes complete with a TV, alarm clock, towels and tea/coffee making facilities.

Breakfast is included in the room rate, and served daily in the property’s dining room. Options include a full Scottish breakfast, as well as a lighter Continental option. As well as local eateries nearby, The Whitehouse has a barbecue and picnic table for guests use.

The Whitehouse is perfectly placed for guests who wish to drive and see the scenery of the Scottish Highlands. The picturesque isle of Skye is a 2 hour drive away, whilst other attractions such as Kinlochewe, Applecross and Lochinver are accessible.

We are situated 2 miles from Dingwall in a very central location for touring. 2 hours drive to Skye in the West, 2 hours to Wick in the North, 2 hours to Aberdeen in the East and 2 hours to Fort William in the South.

I have been in the tourism business since I was a child, growing up with Mam & Dad who ran a B&B from our family home and then went on to build up the "old" Culag Hotel in Lochinver, turning it into a well run business. All my hosting skills have been second nature as I grew up in the Industry. I treat my guests as I would like to be treated myself whilst on holiday.

Conon Bridge is a lovely little village. Folks do not come here to do stuff but to enjoy a comfortable place to stay whilst on their journey to wherever they are going next. I would like to point out that the Whitehouse is in a wonderful spot for going out every day in a different direction and finding a diversity of hill walking, dolphin watching, motorbiking the fantastic roads, whisky sniffing, shopping, relaxing, meeting the locals and anything else that takes your fancy.
