Thorpewood is a one bedroomed barn conversion with vaulted ceilings and wooden floors. The cottage has one bedroom with a double bed and a shower room. The living area has a sofa, dining table and chairs and a fully equipped kitchen which includes crockery, cutlery, full sized oven and fridge with ice box. Outside there is a south facing private garden area with patio furniture. The cottage enjoys full central heating, TV, DVD, CD player and radio, there is also free WiFi. BBQ is available on request and pets are welcome by prior arrangement.

We are a family of 4 who live in the adjacent flint thatched farmhouse. We have been welcoming guests to our 6 cottages for the past 12 years which are all converted from old farm buildings. The cottages are all set around the old farmyard and are within 8 acres of woodland and pasture which you are welcome to explore.

Thorpewood cottages are in Thorpe Market village in the heart of North Norfolk. The North Norfolk Coast has some lovely beaches - the nearest being Cromer and Mundesley, about 4 miles away. The Norfolk Broards are also close by as are bird sanctuaries at Cley and Pensthorpe. National Trust properties of Felbrigg, Blickling and Sheringham Park are also close and worth a visit. Fishing. golf, leisure centres, historic villages, craft centres, the Bure Valley Railway, theatres, cycling and Norwich are also nearby. There are several pubs locally offering a hearty welcome and a good meal. Many allow dogs. A village shop is close by in Southrepps with larger shops and supermakets about 4 miles away in Cromer and North Walsham.
