Modern , large, spacious house with a very comfortable bedroom . Toiletries, luxury towels and dressing gowns are provided. Tea/coffee making facilities in your room and free WI-FI and TV. We have a gym for your personal use. A substantial continental breakfast is provided, which is in the large modern kitchen. Unfortunately cooked breakfasts are not available at this present time. My father -in- law now lives with us , so you might be sharing the breakfast table. Your privacy is respected throughout your stay. If you would like a chat we are up for that too. Large driveway to park your cars. You are welcome to use our relaxing seated area upstairs, ideal for chilling and reading our many books.There is a court yard garden that you may use to enjoy the sun. NO PETS .
I live with my husband and work part-time as a nurse. I have 3 spaniels who love life....plenty of nature walks. I discovered yoga approx 7 years ago and have had 2 trips to an Ashram in India. I love knitting for charities and am an avid reader with my local book club. I thoroughly enjoy meeting new people through my accommodation. You will be staying in our home, therefore we are easily accessible to make your stay comfortable.
Kirklington is a small village with a school and church. Southwell race course is close by. Norwood Park Golf Club is a popular wedding and events venue which is approx 3mins drive away. Southwell is 7mins away by car, which is a pretty town with independent shops and cafes.Famous for Lord Byron,King Charles1 and the Bramley Apple. Available are heritage walks and guides for the famous Southwell Minster. There is The Work House, owned by the national trust close by too. Visit The Southwell website to plan your stay, for example The Gate to Southwell Festival is very popular. We are close to Rufford and Clumber Parks within the Sherwood Forest. Newark is 20mins away where there are lovely shops, museums, civil war museum, riverside trips and fishing. Centre Parcs is 15mins drive.
