Travel Interchange Lodge Bournemouth is located a few minutes walk to Bournemouth Train/ coach Station (National Express from London Victoria, London Heatrow/Gatwick/Stanstead). Close to main bus routes on Holdernhurst Road. Close to Shops, supermarkets, restaurants - chinese, indian, fish and chips, Thai, Korean, Hungarian, Star Bucks, and fast food outlets. We are close to Bournemouth town being centrally located neighborhood. Some apartments have security coded entrances. All apartments have a Kitchen with washing machine, cooker and oven, fridge/feezer, kettle, toaster and microwave. Some bathrooms are fully tiled and with electric shower, toilet and wash hand basin. The 1 bedroom apartments have a large double room with 3 single beds, seperate lounge/kitchen/diner. Neighbourhood information

Located close to a nice an quiet residential cottage type neighborhood of Springbourne - a suburb of Bournemouth. The area gets its name from an old spring that came from near the Windham Road end of Spring Road. The stream then wandered underground to Boscombe Chine and out to sea. Springbourne began its life as a village providing many of the craftsmen the artisans who worked in the growing town of Bournemouth many of the Cottages they lived in built in the Victorian era can still be seen today near Holdenhurst Road. Later came the Avenues of Edwardian Houses many named after Presidents and Statesmen of the United States. The Cricketers (1867) Arms in Windham Road has the accolade of being the oldest pub in Bournemouth. Originally known as the Cricketers Hotel, named after the cricket ground that once existed on land opposite, on the council works beyond where the railway line now runs. The original stables and coach house is still there and heritage experts reckon the front of the pub was extended a short distance around 1910. The stained glass windows and the bar are thought to date from the same time and, according to stories, the bar was taken from a cruise ship.
