Our lovely bed and breakfast is situated in Painswick, the queen of the Cotswolds, an idyllic village perfectly placed for walking, exploring or even a romantic break in peace. Our 3 beautiful rooms are set in their own outhouse for ultimate privacy with a welcoming courtyard blooming with native foliage. Each room has been recently refurbished in creams and cornflower blues alongside a French romantic theme to aid relaxation and serenity. All suites come lovingly decorated with all the added extras to ensure your stay with us is stress free.
My life can be hectic at times I have 6 (almost 7) grandchildren and love to spend time with them doing fun activities and spoiling them. There are also 2 very special boys in my life in the form of beautiful spotty Dalmatians whom I spoil also but love to explore with taking time out for long walks and enjoying where we live and further afar. I enjoy travelling with my husband and have been to many countries worldwide experiencing new cultures and traditions, most recently a tour of America. Work life I have spent many years in hospitality and the care sector both which incorporate my love of looking after others. I have now been lucky enough to have my own bed and breakfast which I thrive on, meeting new people daily learning more about others and their experiences. It keeps life interesting. Another love of mine is food, I like to taste, try and create food from all cuisines and often experiment in my kitchen creating fusions of our travels. Italian and Thai are among my favourites. I feel I am a very open and welcoming person and hope this is portrayed in your stay with us. My favourite quote is arrive as strangers but leave as friends.
We are very privileged to live in Painswick, its a beautiful village with lots to explore. The beacon is a great walk for all ages and on a clear day you can see as far as The Malvern's and wales. The history here is in abundance with our famous church and cemetery and majority of the shops and houses are in their original state. One of our treasures here in Painswick is Rococo Gardens the name speaks for itself its luscious surroundings are a pleasure to all your senses. A major joy of Painswick is its position we are very close to Cheltenham, Gloucester and Stroud, allowing further exploration whether its museums, cathedrals, fine dining or even shopping that you fancy everything is catered for.
