Tumblers is a wonderful, stone-built, semi-detached cottage on the outskirts of the village of Tetbury. This cottage offers three delightful double rooms, one of which resides in an external studio room with its own en-suite shower room. There is a family bathroom in the main cottage, and an open plan living area featuring a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area, and a sitting area boasting a woodburning stove. Outside, there is an enclosed, lawned garden and a patio with furniture and a barbecue. There is also roadside parking on a first come, first served basis, with additional parking available in the town centre, and a free car park roughly a five minute walk away. Tumblers is the perfect base for friends and families to explore this wonderful area of the Cotswolds.
Retaining a wealth of character within its ancient streets, Tetburys origins date all the way back to 681. During the Middle Ages, the town flourished as one of the major market towns for The Cotswolds Wool Trade, and even now The Market Hall is still home to a busy general market, which takes place every Wednesday. The town as a whole is something of a mecca for antique hunters, featuring several shops in the town centre, and regular fairs in its vicinity. Tetbury makes the perfect, relaxing base for exploring the Cotswolds, all year round!
