The barn is a totally unique open plan space which is fun, interesting, comfortable and cosy! Couples enjoy a romantic break away whilst families/good friends like to gather and snuggle up. The barn can sleep up to 4 people (2 in a double bed on the mezzanine and a further 2 single beds downstairs which double up as sofas during the day). The barn is completely private with it's own entrance and courtyard and parking area. We are next door in the house should you need anything but otherwise we leave guests to enjoy their stay uninterrupted. You will find books, games, even an indoor swing! Leaflets galore to help you decide which nearby tourist attractions to visit, walks to go on and restaurants and pubs to try. The kitchenette includes a kettle, toaster, microwave, egg maker, single ring electric hob, fridge/freezer and sink. You will find a cupboard equipped with china and glass and some cooking things. You will find tea, coffee and milk in the barn on your arrival. There is a very handy grocery shop opposite should you want to pick up a daily newspaper along with your chocolate fix and lottery ticket! PROMOTION DEAL! Well, first of all I love people! Meeting people from all over the world when they come to stay and when we go travelling - not, sadly, as often as I would really like! I love animals too but would draw the line at spiders. I love the arts and going to our local Art Deco cinema in Evesham to catch the latest film. Michael and I have 3 kids (if you can still call them that in their twenties?) who keep leaving to explore the universe but mysteriously reappear just in time for a Sunday roast - funny that! We have two very friendly lurchers (a greyhound crossed with any other breed) and enjoy walking them - or should that be, them walking us?
Badsey is a small village set in the Vale of Evesham with many interesting walks and a huge variety of tourist attractions nearby - we are on the edge of the Cotswolds and Stratford upon Avon is not far. There are many towns of historical note including Chipping Campden, Stow on the Wold and Broadway to mention a few. Then there's Cheltenham! The Gold Cup among other popular race days and Cheltenham Jazz and Literary Festivals. If you are into your gardens, you will be spoilt for choice just starting with Hidcote, Kiftsgate Court and Bourton House and Batsford Arboretum. There is so much to see and do from here and our guests often lament that they wish they had booked for longer - no kidding! The village has 2 pubs, a convenience shop/post office and public transport - buses run frequently to and from Evesham. There is a main railway line station at Evesham and taxis are available day and night.
