All our 5m bell tents are fully carpeted and supplied with real beds all made up, ready for you to dive in to. The glamping site is a quiet, private location surrounded by open farmland and is a short drive from Burford, the gateway to the Cotswolds and Bibury, all within easy access to the A40 for Oxford, Cheltenham and London. The farm shop specialises in smoked meat, game and fish, all smoked on site, as well as a wide range of fine wines, cheeses and other treats. For table dining, the Upton Firehouse is located in a majestic converted barn with a gorgeous rustic bar and picnic bench style seating. It serves amazing BBQ lunches and can cater for large parties, with barn doors and sides that swing open to create the perfect setting for safe socialising in 2021. Elements Brewery specialises in small batch crafted hop forward beers with a taproom on site while gin lovers will be happy to hear that Upton Downs’ all new gin distillery opens this summer

Burford’s famous High Street sweeps downhill towards the River Windrush, its medieval bridge and its impressive church, both sides of the street flanked by an unbroken line of ancient houses and shops. Little has changed over the centuries, Burford is popular with visitors, both for its beauty and history but also for its shopping, especially antiques, and for the wide variety of places to eat, with restaurants, pubs and teashops.
