Welcome to Valley View, Spacious, self-contained, bright and airy, modern family home located in the charming market town of Kingsbridge within the beautiful South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Peaceful and calm location/property with a large decked balcony, with a shaded patio and beautiful, South West facing garden — perfect for a relaxing get-away! The property, and especially the balcony, offers lovely rural and estuary views.
The property is less than 5 mins walk to the Salcombe Estuary, the popular Crabshell pub & restaurant (with its Waterborn SUP school) and children’s playground/recreation ground offering tennis courts, boules, free outdoor table tennis and Café Decks with lovely outdoor seating. Easy walk (less than 10 mins) to the main centre of Kingsbridge with its pubs, restaurants, takeaways (including excellent fish and chip restaurant – The Codfather), shops, galleries and cinema. Kingsbridge is centrally located in the South Hams with beautiful sandy beaches (Hope Cove, South Milton Sands, Bantham, Bigbury-on-Sea and Slapton (pebble)) and fabulous coastal and woodland walks all a short drive away (within a 10 mile radius). The popular towns of Salcombe (6.5 miles, 15 mins), Dartmouth (15 miles, 30 mins) and Totnes (14 miles, 25 mins - rail connections to London) are close by. Salcombe is also accessible by the Rivermaid Ferry (April-Oct).
