Vermont Guest House

A 10-minute walk from Aviemore Train Station, Vermont Guest House provides well-appointed rooms and full Scottish breakfasts. There is free on-site parking and WiFi at this guest house, around 1 miles from the Spey Valley Golf Course.

Each room includes a flat-screen TV, alarm clock, seating area and tea and coffee facilities. Some have an en suite shower room with a hairdryer.

Full Scottish breakfast is served each morning, with a selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurts and cheeses. Vegetarian and special dietary requirements can be catered for if advised in advance.

Aviemore lies in the Cairngorms National Park, offering skiing and snow-sports all year round. The small town of Grantown-on-Spey is 14 miles north, and is home to the Speyside Centre including a restaurant, garden centre, art gallery and whisky shop.

Information about the host

We have a homely atmosphere in our guest house suitable for a restful holiday, preferably not for late night revellers so as to ensure good nights sleep for guests as well as ourselves. We obviously do not cater for hen/stag parties. We have returning guests every year let's say of the more mature years because they feel at home with us. This is what we strive to achieve where possible.

My husband and myself have been enjoying meeting all our guests for the last 25 years and have made many many friends.

We are situated at the quiet part of the main road, the bus stop to take you to the Cairngorms is opposite the house. Only 10 minute walk to shops and restaurants.
