Woodlands Guesthouse offers bed and breakfast accommodation located in the West Lyn Valley adjacent to the famous small seaside towns of Lynton and Lynmouth in Exmoor National Park in North Devon. Free private parking and high speed Wi-Fi is available on site.

Woodlands is a large detached Victorian house with woodland views. It has 6 boutique style bedrooms with en suite facilities. Each bedroom includes towels, a hospitality tray, complimentary filtered water and toiletries.

A nutritious breakfast is offered every morning, and evening meals using locally produced ingredients and seasonal fruit and vegetables are also available. Guests can enjoy the well stocked Honesty Bar in our elegant guest lounge.

The local pub is located a 5-minute walk from the property which serves authentic Thai food and makes its own craft ale. Local attractions include the Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway, Lynmouth Harbour and the South West Coastal Path.

Woodlands is an impressive detached stone built Victorian house with 6 luxury en suite bedrooms, large dining room with sun lounge, and guest lounge with honesty bar. Located in the West Lyn River valley, Woodlands is a peaceful, informal and happy place to come stay. Our en suites feature wet rooms with underfloor heating and anti-mist mirrors. Our most recently refurbished room has a luxury bathroom with corner bath and walk in shower. All rooms have satellite TVs (most have 32" screens) and most have a minibar. Breakfasts are traditional English and also healthy (some veg) options including freshly prepared smoothies. Sports mass is also available with notice. Located a ten minute walk from central Lynton, Woodlands has a free car park. The nearest pub is a 5 minute walk away, makes its own beer and serves excellent Thai cuisine. Superbly located for walking and cycling Woodlands is an Exmoor gem.

Steve and Lesley Hawker own and run Woodlands as a labour of love. They are also 2016 "Four in a Bed" competitors: the programme is expected to be screened on Channel 4 in the Automn of 2016. Lesley has enjoyed a long career in teaching and the fitness industry and is a qualified Sports Massage Therapist, offering massage to our guests at Woodlands and Natural Juice Therapist. Steve has had a long career in sales and marketing in the property industry, has been a semi professional chef and is now fulfilling a long term desire to own and operate his own Guesthouse. They have three wonderful and talented children scattered around the Globe. They love living in Exmoor with its friendly people and fabulous scenery and enjoy sharing their experience with their guests.

Lynton and Lynbridge are fascinating small towns located on the North Devon coastline which offers some of the best walking and scenery in the UK. Located within Exmoor National Park the immediate area has a historically Victorian feel which does not change with time. The area offers fantastic walking and cycling options for the active as well as many local attractions (Lyn Valley Railway) and sight seeing. A good supply of local quality restaurants and arts and crafts shops makes the area a must to visit.
