Our property is unique, as it is quirky and set on three floors, making the House feel very spacious. We have two separate living areas, one on the ground floor and a snug on the 1st floor, this is perfect for families holidaying with children, as adults can enjoy socialising downstairs while children can spend time in the snug. Both the living areas have a TV. We dispose of the rubbish and recycling in bins in the shed. We provide books, jigsaws, games, DVD's, cards, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, hot chocolate and cookies. Lots of other basic essentials also and are committed to ensuring that our guests have the best time possible.
We have tried to think of everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We even keep a sledge in the shed for those winter, snowy days and a fishing net for those hot sunny days down by the river. Wooler is a fantastic town, with shops, restaurants, cafes, pubs and bakery's all in walking distance of the House. Everthing is in walking distance of the House, you can just park the car you won't need it. We have three children and they love Wooler, it is a friendly town and with countryside walks, adventures and places to explore on the doorstep. We love going to the top of Humbleton Hill, this has become a New Years Day family tradition.
There is a lovely Italian restaurant called the Milan. No.1 Hotel is also is a Tapas Restaurant and does afternoon tea. Also a lovely hot chocolate. We love the Anchor pub, it has a pool table, is dog-friendly, does a fantastic Sunday lunch and meals and is very welcoming. We like to climb Humbleton Hill or follow St Cuthberts Way Walk into the forest, the signpost is further up the road from the House if you turn right towards Wooler Common. Wooler Common is also a gorgeous walk.
