This former farmers cottage situated in Northumberland National Park has recently been totally refurbished. About 1.5 miles from Hadrians Wall and around 4 miles from the local town of Haltwhistle which is merited with being the Centre of Britain. We are a fully working farm, around a 1000 acres, and have cows and sheep. If you are walking Hadrians wall, just give us a ring and we will pick you up. Living and working in Northumberland National Park and being so close to Hadrian’s Wall makes it a real pleasure to share our “backyard “ with you. Haltwhistle has both a train station and a bus route running between Newcastle and Carlisle. There is also a bus service route along Hadrian’s wall and all the Roman sites as well as stopping at the local towns. We can also pick you up if needed or there is a local taxi service
