The Local Area Lymington is a charming Georgian market town with a number of interesting independent shops and designer boutiques; The surrounding area provides an abundance of things to do - It's a wonderful place to enjoy the outdoors with a range of activities on offer including: cycling, horse-riding, fishing, bird-watching, and enjoying the ancient woodlands and heathlands of the New Forest, and the miles of beaches that run westwards from Milford-on-Sea to Sandbanks in Poole. Shopping Lymington hosts a lively street market every Saturday in the main High Street with a number of stalls catering for all tastes. In addition there's a wide variety of shops, galleries, boutiques, and a Waitrose, Tesco and M&S Food. The town centre is approx 15 minutes walk from the marina.
