The studio cabin has its own entrance and own patio. It consists of an open plan kitchen, dining and sleeping area with a separate shower room and toilet. It also features a king size bed, flat screen TV with DVD and a fully equipped kitchen.

Yew Tree Retreat is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and just a short drive to Powerstock Common Nature Reserve and Eggardon Hill. The property is around a 25 minute drive from the Jurassic Coast and within 12.4 miles from the market towns of Bridport and Dorchester.

Yew Tree Retreat is a cosy self-contained space in the owner’s garden. It has recently been converted to a high standard and provides an uplifting and comfortable place to stay. The studio cabin has its own entrance and own patio. It consists of an open plan kitchen, dining and sleeping area with a separate shower room and toilet. Yew Tree Retreat has a king size bed, flat screen TV with DVD and a fully equipped kitchen. The cabin is in a very quiet area, situated next to a working dairy farm and we ask guests to be respectful of this. We also ask guests to be aware that the road is often used to walk the herd of cows to nearby fields; therefore, the road is sometimes muddy. Yew Tree Retreat is situated at the bottom of the owner’s garden, with its own outside patio area, however, the main garden is private and used by the owners and their daughters. Internet to the retreat is provided by satellite due to the rural location of the property and the quality is adequate for surfing only.

The cabin is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and it is ideal if you love the outdoors, nature, walking and getting away from it all. Yew Tree Retreat is within a few minutes’ walk of Kingcombe Meadows, a 450 acre Dorset Wildlife Trust reserve and a short drive to Powerstock Common Nature Reserve and Eggardon Hill (iron aged hill fort). The property is a 25 minute drive from the Jurassic Coast and a 20 minute drive to the market towns of Bridport and Dorchester. Cerne Abbas and its famous giant is a 20 minute drive.
