YHA Langdale

Set in a grand Victorian mansion, YHA Langdale is a National Trust property with leafy grounds, cosy log fires and a restaurant. The Lake District hostel is situated between Elterwater and Grasmere.

The bright and airy rooms feature modern bunk beds, and some have a private bathroom. The YHA also features a TV lounge and games room, and the balcony terrace has scenic views of Windermere.

Guests can enjoy hearty evening meals and snacks in the restaurant, and there is also a barbecue area. YHA Langdale features a fully equipped kitchen and a dining area for self-catering guests.

Centrally located for exploring the dramatic Langdale Pikes, this YHA is a 10-minute drive from Ambleside. There is plenty of free on-site parking, and Windermere is a 15-minute drive away.
