Nestled at the foot of Mount Snowdon, this hostel is a former inn offering a range of accommodation. It has stunning views across Lake Llyn Cwellyn.

Guests at YHA Snowdon Ranger can swim in the tranquil lake, and take a footpath from the door of the building to climb the highest mountain in Wales.The majority of rooms contain bunk beds.

With free private parking, the hostel is an ideal base from which to explore Snowdonia National Park. It has a lounge for guests to relax in, a games room, and an on-site restaurant.

YHA Snowdon Ranger is 30 minutes’ drive from Bangor, where guests can catch a bus from Bangor Rail Station to the hostel. Caernarfon, home of the magnificent Caernarfon Castle, is a 15-minute drive away.
