YHA Streatley on Thames

Located in the picturesque village of Streatley in Berkshire, Streatley Youth Hostel is a Victorian house set next to a particularly scenic part of the river Thames. Free private on-site parking is available and Goring and Streatley Rail Station is only a mile away.

The Ridgeway, an ancient trail described as the UK’s oldest road is just 150 yards from the hostel and is a great starting point for bike rides and walks. Beale Wildlife Park and Gardens is within 3 miles of the hostel and the Living Rainforest, an indoor tropical greenhouse, is just 5 miles away.

YHA Streatley is conveniently located between Reading, Swindon and Oxford. Reading can be reached within 30 minutes, whilst Swindon and Oxford are less than an hour’s drive. Central London is just over an hour away by car or by train.
