A modern private suite in a nice family home situated in Downpatrick. You will have a large private sunroom with comfy reclining sofa and chairs and a large flat screen TV. An adjoining double bedroom and a private shower room with electric shower. From the sunroom you can access a large decking area with fishpond and lots of solar lighting perfect to enjoy a relaxing evening. Your suite has direct private access with its own entrance affording you that extra bit of privacy but we are always on hand if you require any assistance. Your suite also has tea and coffee making facilities, an iron and a hair dryer

We are new to hosting but are really looking forward to having guests staying with us. We love travelling and have stayed in many lovely homes over the years. We are proud of our home and hope guests really enjoy their stay. We love our crafts and make our own ceramics and knitwear.

A great base to visit the wonderful scenery of County Down and very central to the many sites associated with St. Patrick including the burial place of St. Patrick, the site of his first church and the wells where he spent much of his time. For those looking for some adventure you can go mountain biking in Castlewellan Forest Park (10km) or canoeing on Strangford Lough (10km). For the many Game of Throne's fans why not visit the site of filming location for Winterfell and other scenes in Castleward Estate on the outskirts of Strangford village (8km). Belfast is a 45 min drive or bus trip with great things to see such as the Titanic Centre. The seaside town of Newcastle is a 20 min drive from Downpatrick.
