Set in its own private grounds, Durn House is an elegant 18th-century Georgian mansion house which retains many original features, such as large open fireplaces, an impressive stone spiral staircase and spacious individually designed guest rooms. Free WiFi is available throughout and private parking is available on site.

A flat-screen TV with a DVD player, bathrobes, and toiletries are provided with each Durn House guest room. You will also find a welcome tray with fresh mil available on request.

Guests can enjoy a continental or full Scottish breakfast and home-baked bread and pastries, freshly baked each morning. Durn House serves breakfast, luncheon, afternoon teas as well as evening dining for guests and non residents alike. The property's head chef selects fresh, local ingredients and the menus change regularly. You can also enjoy a tasting menu of 3, 5 or 7 courses.

Durn House also has an abundance of history with links to the romantic tales of Bonnie Prince Charlie and the Battle of Culloden and is just a short troll to the sea and the fabulous Banffshire Coastline dotted with unspoilt fishing villages plus an abundance of wildlife. Durn House provides a experience as soon as you step into the house. Staff are willing to share its secrets and history where guests can relax in front of the fire in the elegant hall or in any of the guest lounges which all have a cosy informal atmosphere. Durn House is an ideal place to explore the Castle and Whisky trails as well as the Cairngorm National Park, Royal Deeside and Speyside all of which are within travelling distance.
