Information about the host

We are 7 mins by car from the beach and surfing. A short distance to local golf courses, Distillery and Castle also scenic woodland and coastal walks. We are in a historical village full of stone cottages hundreds of years old. Our church was built in 1804 and has been fully renovated to incorporate a local seafood Bistro at the front of the building. A fully walled garden which can be enjoyed in the summertime. At the back of the building there is a self contained unit with a private entrance and exit a lawned area to sit in on sunny days. The view from the room is overlooking a field with horses and trees. The room has underfloor heating a large king size bed and a double size shower. Breakfast is also included in the price. The village is very quiet and tranquil in a farming community but also very accessible to the main roads for travelling to amenities.You can hear the owls and sometimes see the local wildlife in the evenings. We are famed as holding the wedding in our church of the parents of the Scottish Samurai Thomas Blake Glover who helped to found Mitsubishi in Japan.
