Offering everything you need for the perfect getaway, it has two very nicely appointed bedrooms, a family bathroom with bath and shower, and a living-dining space open to the kitchen which is fully equipped with everything you need for a self catering break. You'll access the cottage via a secret garden, lit by fairy lights and have use of a BBQ, fire pit and outdoor furniture in a very private garden that makes this cottage very special. This is a fantastic opportunity to stay in the grounds of stunning Davenport House. Set amid picturesque countryside, this is a breathtaking Grade I listed Georgian house. Combining original features and chic interior design, alongside the warmth of a family residence, Davenport House is an enchanting setting which you get to enjoy from your very own spot in a historic mansion.

My family and I live at Davenport House where we organised weddings and events, and enjoy hosting guests in the charming cottages which have been converted from the original stables, carriage house, gamekeeper's, coachman's and gardener's house. The house dates back to 1727 and is steeped in history. We love living here and sharing the experience!

We're located in walking distance from the lovely village of Worfield which has a noteworthy historic church, local pub and small village shop. There are beautiful walks throughout the grounds and beyond, you can walk to the local pub or venture a little further into Bridgnorth, Much Wenlock, Ironbridge or Shrewsbury, where you'll find culture and more history, museums, great places to eat and all kinds of leisure facilities and entertainment.
