The Rathmore

Located in the south of Cambridge, The Rathmore is situated less than a mile from Cambridge Rail Station and offers free Wi-Fi and free private parking.

Rooms at the Rathmore are decorated using pastel colours and furnished with warm wooden fittings. They are all equipped with a cable TV and some come with an en suite bathroom.

The property features a large modern kitchen with dishwasher and microwave and guests can take advantage of the pool tables and dart boards in the on-site pub. There are also additional shared bathrooms available.

Cambridge city centre is only a mile and a half away and the property is opposite Cambridge Leisure, an area including a cinema, ten-pin bowling and various restaurants. The picturesque Botanical Gardens are just a 10-minute walk away.

The Rathmore Club is an independent, local bar 1.5miles from Cambridge city centre. Upstairs, it offers hostel-style accommodation, consisting of private rooms. Some rooms have en-suite bathrooms and some bathrooms are shared. There is a communal kitchen where you can do your own cooking and a communal lounge. Breakfast is not served but guests are welcome to help themselves to cereal, toast, tea, coffee, and juice which are left in the kitchen. The accommodation is strictly no smoking, however, there is an outside smoking area on the terrace upstairs. Downstairs is the Rathmore Club. We welcome you to enjoy the atmosphere of our friendly pub. There are pool tables and darts boards and regular screenings of sports matches. There is a private entrance to the accommodation, however, upon arrival please go to the bar to check in.

The accommodation is based on a main road near lots of independently owned restaurants, cafes and takeaways. Within a two- five minute walk is the Cambridge Leisure Centre which comprises of a gym, a bowling alley, a cinema, multiple chain restaurants, both a small Tesco's and a Sainsbury's and the Junction which is a popular music, theatre and entertainment venue. The accommodation is also close by to both Addenbrookes hospital and the new Papworth hospital. We are a fifteen-minute walk from Cambridge Train Station and a twenty-five-minute walk from the center of town. A bus service regularly (normally every ten minutes) passes and travels to both the train station and the city center. There are also good cycling routes from the accommodation to the center of the city, Addenbrookes and the train station.
