Alpaca My Tipi is a luxury, quiet private glamping field with 2 fully equipped 6.4m traditional Sioux Tipi's. Located in a stunning, remote countryside field with plenty of space, footpaths, walking and great local pubs. Explore, climb trees, relax in hammocks, swim in private private pool and reconnect with nature & meet our Alpaca's. Each Tipi sleeps up to 5 guests - perfect for a family or couple and includes a double bed, proper mattress, fresh linen, and a sofa (1) and floor mattresses (2) for children. You bring you and we'll alpaca the rest. An outdoor table and chairs are provided along with fire pit & grill, camping gas stove, cooking equipment, fridge, camping cutlery and crockery, cool bag & freezer packs. A gas heater for inside the Tipi is provided on colder nights. You are welcome to book exclusive use of our family swimming pool for two hours per day (a morning or afternoon slots so that we can manage cleaning before/after). There is a private toilet and hot water shower for each tipi. A hand washing/washing up sink with hot water and drinking water is shared with the other tipi. We also provide a refrigerator and access to plug sockets for charging phones

Sarah, Simon and family cant wait to welcome you to our quiet, secluded countryside home. Sarah is mum to two young girls, a grown up boy & girl, a newfoundland and Alpacas. We are a busy, happy, friendly family who will give you all the privacy you need for a relaxing stay here. We prefer to welcome you in person to our tipi's to get you settled during daylight hours and be on hand to help light a fire or bbq if needed. We are real foodies, from hospitality, events and weddings backgrounds. Sarah used to cook professionally and has run a few restaurants in her time, we now love entertaining and growing our own veg in our garden. We support all of our local shops and love using the plethora of local quality ingredients from independent businesses we have in Sussex on our doorstep. Hillcroft is our family home & small holding. It was built in late 70's by Si's late father & mother. Si and I moved here in 2014 and have continued to develop the land, bridge, access and buildings in as sustainable and eco-friendly way as possible as well as start a family and keep the Alpacas. We aim to be entirely off-grid and self sufficient in the next few years.

The West Sussex countryside here is a bit of a hidden gem and the perfect place to escape it all and get back to wild living. The Tipi is located in our Alpaca field behind our home, the Alpacas will be nearby but roped off and you are welcome to feed them daily. We are located at the very end of a long stone track, over a single track river bridge and the field is nestled next to the Wey & Arun Canal, and a meca of footpaths and bridleways, perfect for cycling and walking. Straight along the canal and within easy walking/cycling distance are two very good local pubs with stunning views and cracking gardens (The Onslow, Loxwood and The Sir Roger Tichbourne, Alfold Bars). The village of Ifold, Plaistow, Kirdford and Loxwood all have excellent local, well stocked shops and tea rooms. Loxwood has an award-winning Butcher John Murrays which is well worth a visit to get items for cooking on your BBQ grill. At the Wey & Arun Canal centre at Loxwood (20 mins walk) you can kayak and SUP for a daily fee, along with canal boat trips. Hide
