Information about the host

The house and garden room are set in 4 acres of land nestled between Pulborough and Billingshurst. The house dates back to 1580 and was the original farm for North Heath, however the land was sold off and dispersed with other small holdings. The Garden room is placed in the bottom field behind the formal garden to the house and is quiet and rural. You have a huge garden bench and bbq/bar area to use, as well as use of the field should you so wish. Also on the land is a functioning pottery and lessons can be booked if you so wish.

Wendy and John, so Wendy is the ceramic artist and still does courses from her studio. The business is scaled down now as she is retired but she works hard to keep the love of pottery alive by giving special help to the local community with specific courses or throwing days, Raku days etc. John is semi-retired businessman, who is always around and all you see he built from scratch including the garden room.

Quiet location, hamlet. We are set back from the road. There is a few pubs and restaurants locally but all require a drive too. If you cycle, run or just walk there are so many fun, rides, walks and runs you would never get bored. I cycle the roads and all the tracks on the south downs and love every minute of it.
