Welcome to Maesyfelin Isaf, sitting in 6 acres beside Nant Cledlyn river, in the lovely village of Drefach, located between Llanybydder and Lampeter in a beautiful but overlooked part of Ceredigion in South West Wales. The Glamping Hay Loft is a unique self catering space that offers the guest comfortable camping with roof and stone walls, to experience what was the hay loft over the old 'stables'. Complete with kitchenette, proper beds, with a private wet room/toilet a short walk outside around the corner and into an adjoining outbuilding and no muddy paths. The site itself has an interesting history, having originally being the site of a wool factory powered by its own waterwheel, which incidentally is still there along with the stable block. After the factory fell into ruin the existing house and annex were built on the site using the original stone during the mid 1980’s. Guests have access to our gardens and fields, with field paths and garden furniture beside the river for that early morning stroll or sit by the stream on a nice evening, along with our fire pit. We moved here in March 2018, to get away from Swindon and the rat race basically. Over time we want to build up our own home grown veg and stuff plus facilities and free range chickens, so eggs available if required.

There is so much on offer within 5 to 50 minutes journey time from our central location, from coastal towns such as Aberaeron and New Quay, excellent beach at Llangrannog, to inland attractions of Llanerchaeron House and gardens, Gwilli steam railway, National Wool Museums, Gold Mine, Castles, Forest walks, Cambrian Mountains and mountain bike rides in the Brechfa forest.
